This is a completely awesome site for upgrading your Golf Cart. They virtually have everything a cart enthusiast could ask for. I have been looking on this site for a couple weeks and undecided on the upgrade I want. I know that Plum Quick motors is where my money will be spent.

Just recieved my motor back today. It is for a 1985 Club Car DS (36v series cart)...so it doesn't have newer technology to make it fast. When I sent the motor, just bought new batteries and tested cart with GPS speedometer and was at a whopping 11 mph and took off slow and built up to the 11 mph...😒. After Plum Quick motor and new Royal Purple 5-30 as suggested cart felt like it wanted to lift the front end...immediately hit 13 mph and built up to 16 mph(batteries were not at 100%).....I am definitely pleased with the improvement and love the torque. Thank you so much! Hope to do business again in the future.

Just installed my new Plum Quick motor today, it’s great! I am running 72volts, 23” tires, new trojan12v batteries- a custom set up. They suggested the Demon for my setup and I couldn’t be happier . It gets right up to 20mph just tapping the pedal and full speed on flat ground is 38.4 mph with two adults.

Great Company. Received everything as promised. Had a slight problem with installation, which turned out to be user error. They made sure the problem was corrected and the cart is working great!!!!

Recently I purchased a 2016 Club Car cart which was refurbished by a outstanding small business In Lakeland FL. They asked if I’d like improved speed, torque, and reliability from my cart’s motor. They said they’d like to try a refurbished motor from Plum Quick Motors in SC. The price was reasonable and I agreed to the motor upgrade. The cart maxed out in the mid 17 MPH range prior to the work. The cart now runs up to 25 MPH. Yes, we added new batteries, but by far the biggest difference is my purple Bandit motor from the Steen family at Plum Quick. I couldn’t be happier with the cart and a big part of my satisfaction is due to that purple Plum Quick motor!

We have an older Club Carryall (utility cart w/dump bed) that was TIRED & needed some love. It had:•Stock 48v motor with 1250hrs on clock•Stock Curtis 300a controller•Stock solenoid•Stock cablesWe used a GPS to get a baseline speed (9mph) & had ZERO torque to get up any hills on our property.I contacted Robby & he suggested a “Grizzly” motor since it was built specifically for torque (perfect for our application).I was concerned (as I didnt have a ton of $ to put into the cart), but he suggested starting with the motor now, then over time he suggested a new controller/components.We started with just the motor, WOW what a difference... so we pulled the trigger and got the other components👍 SO GLAD WE DID!! We now have a cart that zips up the hills, AND we GPS’d the cart at 17mph (an added bonus for us that we werent expecting)! Thanks Robby!🍻

I shipped a motor from a remote island in the great lakes and these guys not only got the motor upgraded but also found a way to get it back to me cheaper than I shipped it to them. On top of that they noticed my motor had a slight noise even after the upgrade so the waved the upgrade fees because the job wasn't to their standards (nothing they could do with a bent brush). These guys do business the right way and they have gained a long term customer because of their honesty. Thanks from Kelly's Island.

An email I wrote to Robby of Plumbquick Motors Robby,I want to thank you for your advice and great job on my motor. I received the motor late yesterday afternoon and installed it last night. My speed increased from 18 - 19 mph to 28 -29 mph. Still very quick off the line and high end incredible. Now I’m going to look into putting hydraulic disc brakes on the front. My wife now says she will ride with me in the golf cart because we won’t get passed by everybody else. Thank your staff for me too.Regards,Ed AllenSun City Center Florida Very knowledgeable and honest. They could have sold me $1000 worth of stuff but we’re honest enough to advise me it wasn’t what I needed. I went with their advice and got the purple motor and it’s incredible. I highly recommend them!

Looking for a top notch motor shop? Look no further. These guys know far more than their closest competitor. Attention to detail and total knowledge of their product totally separates Plum Quick from the competition. I own a golf car business and I swear by Plum Quick products as they've never given me a reason not to love them. The Steen family are extremely friendly people and they are very easy to get along with. They take all the guess work out of it. You decide what you want your cart to do and call them. They'll tell you exactly what you need to do to achieve your goal. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Plum Quick Motors!

Plum Quick is the #1 Golf Cart Motor in the world. Quality is outstanding and customer service is above all others in the industry. If you are looking to upgrade your cart give Plum Quick a call. They have all types of motors available from Mild to Wild. I will not use anything but Plum Quick Motors in all the carts I build. As golfers say, first one to their ball never has a bad lie. Why not use that Torque and Speed in your cart. 5 Star Rating is not high enough for this company.

Both of my carts run Plum Quick power, and they both perform exceptionally. The carts run normal diameter lo-pro rubber on big alloys and the launch torque is startling. One cart will break daylight under the front tires and the other will bark tires on asphalt. Anyone who drives my carts comes back smiling. It ensures that I made the right decision concerning PQ. Great products, even better service. When I see Robby on TV for his next World Record run, I can say that's the guy that builds my cart motors!
