New Custom Built Motor, Class H Motor Rating, High Performance Brushes, High Torque Club Car 48 volt Series 10 spline 10 HP, Speed 12-14 mph (estimated)  +40% more torque with stock controller, standard height tires, flat terrain and a good quality battery pack. For slight inclines and larger height tires (22” overall tire height on average) add a Navitas TSX 3.0 440 amp controller, Heavy Duty Curtis Albright Solenoid and 2ga. Wires to get additional low end torque.

For added SPEED and RANGE look at our EPOCH 90 AH (30+ miles of run time) or 120 AH (40+ miles of run time) Lithium Battery kits with charger and battery wires (ships UPS to your door) with 11 year prorated Manufacturer Warranty, these are Universal fit (any brand Golf Cart) drop in batteries that you can add additional batteries for even more range in the future (reduce the cart weight by 200 to 300 lbs. and gain more speed, torque and range)!

• Easy install with NO controller programming on any Series motors. Sepex motors that require higher amp Navitas TSX 3.0 600 amp controllers need to be field mapped (PLUM QUICK Sepex motor name is the correct field map found in the Navitas TSX 3.0 600 amp controller). Sepex motors that can be run with stock controllers don’t need any other field map.

• BLUE HORNET PERFORMANCE motors by PLUM QUICK MOTORS can run on 36 volts and 48 volts! Running a 48 volt BLUE HORNET PERFORMANCE motor on 36 volts will result in the loss of 3-4 mph of posted speed and -10% in posted torque, however running a 36 volt BLUE HORNET PERFORMANCE motor on 48 volts will result in a gain of 3-4 mph in posted speed and +10% in posted torque.

• Class H motor rating (up to 190*F rating on the motor housing) and large High Performance brushes for greater contact surface on the armature.
• Made with more steel (on average 15 lbs. heavier than stock motors) & virgin copper and thus provides better thermal capabilities.
• Less current draw (provides higher horse power at less amps) and thus longer vehicle range (less amp draw means more reserve in the battery pack for more mileage).
• DO NOT install a rubber bumper inside the motor coupler before install, this can cause a high amp draw and is NOT needed! Motors are ready to install right out of the box with NO modifications.
• Clean the rear end output shaft with a wire brush to remove any debris and spray lightly with any brand white lithium spray. Motor should slide on splines and motor housing should bump rear end housing before installing and tightening the motor bolts to rear end housing.
• Installing the motor tip, take a sharpie marker and mark the side of the motor housing where the threaded holes are and this will allow you to locate the threaded holes as you rotate the motor to install motor mounting bolts.
• A good quality battery pack is the foundation needed for high performance golf cart motors. The battery pack is ONLY as good as the weakest battery!
• BLUE HORNET PERFORMANCE motors by PLUM QUICK MOTORS when paired with a Navitas TSX 3.0 600 amp controller the customer needs to add a Heavy Duty Curtis Albright or comparable quality solenoid with upgraded 4ga. or 2ga. wires (stock wires are only 6ga.) and may require a Heavy Duty Forward and Reverse switch for Series carts, Sepex carts DO NOT require a Heavy Duty Forward and Reverse switch.
• Electric to Gas comparison: Electric motor / Gas engine,  Electronic controller / Gas carburetor or Throttle body,  Wire cables / Gas fuel lines.
