For added SPEED and RANGE look at our EPOCH 90 AH (30+ miles of run time) or 120 AH (40+ miles of run time) Lithium Battery kits with charger and battery wires (ships UPS to your door) with 11 year prorated Manufacturer Warranty, these are Universal fit (any brand Golf Cart) drop in batteries that you can add additional batteries for even more range in the future (reduce the cart weight by 200 to 300 lbs. and gain more speed, torque and range)!
Navitas 600amp DC controller kit.
Features:
600 amp controller and plug and play harness for your specific cart.
Direct replacement for stock controller with increased speed and torque.
Compact size and lightweight.
Controller mapping programs designed to protect your current motor whether aftermarket or stock.
Will work with a stock motor, solenoid and wiring.
Performance:
36V/48V Shunt/Regen carts:
Increased top speed
Increased torque
Up to 75% more RAW torque than a stock controller.
36V/48V Series carts:
Increased torque. A lot more torque on a series cart
It is important to note that a controller swap will not increase top speed on a series cart!
Bluetooth App:
Navitas app allows for user parameter changes. Users can adjust programming based on tire size, gearing and other factors to get top performance from their carts.
Easy to diagnose problems or errors with the cart.
Built in speedometer.
Gear indicator.
One‑click lock out feature for added security.
Live battery monitoring.
Notifications of any errors and the ability to run data logs that send directly to Navitas techs.
Available for Droid and Iphone.
On the Fly programming option:
The OTF programmer allows users to adjust Speed, Acceleration and Regen (No regen adjustment on a Series cart).
The user can adjust these settings while driving the cart.
Why is this important? If you need extended range, it is terrible for a cart to reduce speed using the pedal. When you run half throttle a DC set up will run hotter. With the Navitas OTF knobs you can reduce top speed to 50% and the actual mapping program in the controller will change. So therefore your DC equipment will run cooler when adjusted through the knobs vs reducing pedal press.

It gets right up to 20mph just tapping the pedal and full speed on flat ground is 38.4 mph with two adults.

•Stock 48v motor with 1250hrs on clock
•Stock Curtis 300a controller
•Stock solenoid
•Stock cables
We used a GPS to get a baseline speed (9mph) & had ZERO torque to get up any hills on our property.
I contacted Robby & he suggested a “Grizzly” motor since it was built specifically for torque (perfect for our application).
I was concerned (as I didnt have a ton of $ to put into the cart), but he suggested starting with the motor now, then over time he suggested a new controller/components.
We started with just the motor, WOW what a difference... so we pulled the trigger and got the other components👍
SO GLAD WE DID!! We now have a cart that zips up the hills, AND we GPS’d the cart at 17mph (an added bonus for us that we werent expecting)!
Thanks Robby!🍻

Robby,
I want to thank you for your advice and great job on my motor. I received the motor late yesterday afternoon and installed it last night. My speed increased from 18 - 19 mph to 28 -29 mph. Still very quick off the line and high end incredible. Now I’m going to look into putting hydraulic disc brakes on the front.
My wife now says she will ride with me in the golf cart because we won’t get passed by everybody else.
Thank your staff for me too.
Regards,

Very knowledgeable and honest. They could have sold me $1000 worth of stuff but we’re honest enough to advise me it wasn’t what I needed. I went with their advice and got the purple motor and it’s incredible. I highly recommend them!

I have a 2004 EZ-Go TXT PDS cart, lifted, stock motor, 36V. However, I needed more power to get up some slopes in my area. I wasn’t ready to go all AC. So, I decided to replace the batteries with a 48V Trojan Lithium setup and the stock Curtis 1206MX controller. I needed a DC controller able to deliver 400-600A of power and the Navitas fit the bill. Plumquick delivered it….Quick!
The small size fit within the stock controller’s environmental cover with just a minor adjustment. The pre-made adapter/wiring harness made installation pretty straightforward. I just had to drill and tap a mounting hole on the mounting plate/heat sink and I was then in business.
The controller itself was easy to set up. I installed the app on my iPhone and reviewed the settings. Most settings were default, but I ended up adjusting a couple settings after I got the hang of it.
I had one technical question for Navitas, and, was able to reach them quickly. A knowledgeable technician listened and properly concluded my lithium battery management system was tapped out. I added a few more Trojan lithiums (6 total) and the cart ran fine.
As far as performance, the severe slopes (11% for 0.25 mile) were no problem, carting 4 adults (about 600 pounds). The controller ran cool. Using the app, I was able to see that I would peak around 400-425-475A to get moving, but then drop to 250-275A steady state up the hill. Straightaways, I’m easily at 18-22 mph (software limits may be set – that’s fast enough in my area).
Thoroughly satisfied with Navitas.

Bought this for my 36 volt 2005 EZ go txt, series cart. My old controller was overheating and it was overall not very torquey. This controller makes the difference. The torque is there now. Speed might be a little better. But not that I have the navitas controller and Plum quicks sorcerer motor I can switch to 48 volt when my batteries are at end of life. Would definitely recommend!
